Oliver Tuff is the founder and president of Feeding 500. A native of New Canaan, CT, and a member of New Canaan High School’s Class of 2023, Ollie began Feeding 500 in 2020 after learning of the presence of a homeless population in Fairfield County. Ever since, he has been wholly devoted to serving local communities by involving the bright minds of others around him. Ollie’s goal for Feeding 500 is to create a self-sustaining network of high schools capable of contributing to local shelters while expanding on their own. His ultimate vision is to reform homeless prevention and emergency housing practices, maximizing the efficiency and effectiveness of shelter programs. Working with Open Doors Shelter, he presented his proposals to Connecticut state legislature in the summer of 2022.
